In order to operate any snowmobile on any O.F.S.C. trail, operators of snowmobiles must have, and carry, a M.O.T. current license. If an operator does not have one of the "G" Class licenses, the operator of a snowmobile can obtain a license through a certified training center as younge as the age  of 12, see driver training link below for details. Remember you will have to have turned 12 years of age on or before the date of the course. This course is also recomended for all first time operators regardless of your age.   REMEMBER YOU MUST CARRY A VALID LICENSE WHILE OPERATING SNOWMOBILIES

The following are course requirements:

  • 12 yrs old on or before the day of the course 
  • Minimum 6 hours of classroom instruction
  • Cost $40.00 (includes course material)
  • Upon successful completion of course exam a Snow Vehicle Operators License will be issued
